In the Kitchen: My Go-To Detox Water

Hey, y'all!
After I shared a photo of my detox water on Instagram, I was asked by a lot of y'all, "What's in it?!" "How do you make it?!" etc.
After considering whether or not I wanted to start incorporating recipes into the blog, I have finally decided to try a few a month for you guys!

This is a recipe that I found on Pinterest but changed a few little things to reflect my personal taste.
It is designed to help you with bloating and puffiness!
I've been using it for a week and can tell a huge difference!
It is recommended to drink 1/2 of a gallon a day!

Here's what you need for 1 gallon of the detox:

1 Lemon
1 Cucumber
1 Grapefruit
20 Leaves of Mint
A Cutting Board
A Wooden Spoon for Stirring
A Sharp Knife
A Glass (or plastic) 1 Gallon Pitcher

I always try to purchase organic fruits if it fits into my budget that week.
After you have gathered all of your items, wash everything in cool water, and then SLICE!
Fill your pitcher half way with water, add the fruits, and then fill the remaining room in the pitcher with more water! I always use filtered water. I use the Brita Filter Pitchers daily. They save you a lot of money daily and you will drink what you pour most of the time!

After you have created your masterpiece, set it in the fridge to cool for 2 hours.

Voila!
Drink up, recharge, and enjoy!
