Goal Fit: April Update

Hey y'all!
Wow! It's been a while since I've updated you on my fitness journey!
The main thing I have to say is... so far, so good!
When I started this on February 17th, I weighed 158 pounds, which was the most I have ever weighed. I now weigh 144 pounds. That makes 14 pounds down in two months. I have to say that it's definitely not been easy and I've worked my tail off! 

I may not look like a supermodel, but I have went down one size in pants/dresses and also in tops. I am replacing some fat with muscle, which explains the lack of extra weight loss. However, I am not weighing myself as often now because I am focusing more on getting tone and in shape instead of a number on a scale!

I can say that I feel better than I ever have! I run Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for 30 minutes. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I take a WERQ class at my local gym and also do 2-3 miles of cardio. I alternate days with squats, ab, and arm exercises as well. I have Saturday and Sunday as my rest days! If I do workout on the weekends, it is something relaxing, like a yoga session!

As for nutrition, I am simply eating good things. I'm not starving myself. Heck, I feel like I eat more now than I did before... but what I put in my body is good for me. I have one cheat day a week and this is usually on Saturday. 

The bottom line is... eat good, clean food and workout 5 days a week... I promise you will see results. Most of all, enjoy the journey and remember where you came from. Never stop pushing yourself and keep those end goals in mind!
