Home Tour: Living Room Moments

Hey y'all!
It's finally time for our living room reveal! I have enjoyed working with so many wonderful shops to make our new home... a HOME! The idea that I had in my mind was for a quaint, southern charm style and that's exactly the feeling I have when I walk into our living room each morning. It's absolutely perfect! There are still a few pieces that will be added within the next few months... but Rome wasn't built in a day, right? Thanks so much for taking a peek into our home! Enjoy loves!

Canvas Print: Gift (similar option) || "M" Sign: Hobby Lobby (similar optionlove this) || Wall Organizer: Kaizen Woodworks c/o || Sunglasses: Ray-Ban

When you walk through our front door the first thing you'll see is this little nook. I love how well all of this paired together! I had purchased the wooden "M" monogram at Hobby Lobby a few years ago and have used it in both of our homes. I linked a very similar option, and one I'm thinking about purchasing for our bathroom, in the links above. This canvas print was a gift from my dad. I'm not sure where he purchased it, but I linked a very similar option from an Etsy shop above for y'all!

Can I just say that Kaizen Woodworks has some of the most beautiful pieces! When I saw this mail organizer, I knew that we had to have it for our home! I love the rustic look and it is seriously the perfect size for our entryway nook! How genius is it to have a spot for sunglasses as well?! I had never seen this option before and absolutely fell in love. Y'all need to go check out this amazing shop! He has so many other options, paint choices, etc. available!

8x10 Frames: Walgreens (similar option) || 5x7 Frames: IKEA (similar option)

In my opinion, no home is complete without happy moments of your life covering the walls. The first set of photos are from our engagement session in May 2012. Out of the 150+ photos that our photographer captured, these two are within my top ten. I love the sweet moment he captured between us on the old path in the photo on the left. It speaks volumes into what our relationship is like. The photos in the second set are from our beautiful wedding day in Wilmington, North Carolina in August 2012. I planned our wedding in one week. From the minister to the flowers, I somehow managed to do all of that within just a few days, and without communication with my future husband! It was an adventure but it is one I'll never forget. How sweet love is, friends. If you want me to share a post about our wedding, how I planned it, and why we chose a small wedding, let me know over on Instagram!

Curtains: Fantasy Fabric Designs c/o

Welcome to the living room! When I started to plan the style of our living room and exactly what I wanted it to look like, I knew without a doubt that burlap curtains had to be included. These curtains from Fantasy Fabric Designs were the perfect centerpiece for this design remodel. When I received them in the mail, I couldn't believe that they were even more beautiful in person than on the website! I am a lover of natural light, which means I hate "heavy" curtains, and I couldn't be happier that these are just the perfect median between light and heavy! Even with the curtains closed my living room is filled with natural light! You must go see all that this amazing company has to offer! Honey is so sweet to speak with as well! You will not have an experience anything short of wonderful from this company!

Monogram Burlap Pillow: 1860 Farmhouse c/o || Couch + Large Pillows: Ashley Furniture

Of course I had to have some monogram items in the living room! Y'all know that's a staple of us southern women! This burlap monogram pillow from 1860 Farmhouse was the perfect match to our curtains as well! These pillows come in so many different color options! Her shop is currently closed due to a family health issue but will be opening back up in January! Be sure you click over to be notified when she's open again!

Blanket Ladder: Knotty & Knobbed c/o || Purple Blanket: Marshall's (similar optionwant this) || Sherpa Throw: Walmart (similar option)

Everyone that knows me well knows that I love a warm, cozy blanket in the fall! Others would say that I keep my house so cold, I'd better have blankets available for my guests! Hah! When I saw this beautiful blanket ladder from Knotty & Knobbed, I literally gasped. Not only because it's perfect for all of those pretty, cozy blankets you have lying around, but also because it's absolutely gorgeous! They have several different color options for you to choose from. I went with white and the distressing was perfect! If you find yourself always walking to a linen closet to pull out those blankets (that need to be seen anyway!) then I suggest you go purchase one of these babes now!

Barn Print: Lisa Russo Fine Art c/o || Horse Print: Vivid Atelier c/o || Field Print: Lisa Russo Fine Art c/o

Of course finding the perfect prints to hang in our living room was a must. After searching through hundreds of pieces, I finally came across the most gorgeous photograph of a horse I'd ever seen. This horse print from Vivid Atelier was the centerpiece for a lot of the choices I made for decor in our living room. It was modern, southern, and rustic all in one piece. I hardly couldn't believe my eyes, y'all. His work is stunning and deserves so much praise! Then the discussion of "What do I pair with this beautiful piece?" came about. Of course they had to be equal in quality and also mesh well with the horse photo. When I came across Lisa Russo Fine Art, I was speechless. I finally had found artwork that fit well with our theme and was gorgeous in every way. The lighting, the colors, the depth... it was all finally coming together. I decided on these two pieces from her shop to bring in some color but also wanted to keep some white within the photos to play off of the horse print. These two prints were perfect. We had finished the small gallery that would adorn the wall above our television and be the center of what you see when sitting on our cozy couch.

Candle: Bath & Body Works (love this) || Bible: The 5 Love Languages Devotional Bible || Mug: Grace Lettering || Coasters: Three Leafs Woodworks c/o

Our coffee table is fairly simple. We have our family Bible, a candle (always burning!), and these beautiful pallet wood coasters. As you may know, I'm crazy about small little details, even things such as coasters. I wanted them to fit in well with our decor but also to bring a little pop of color to our dark tables. These pallet wood coasters from Three Leafs Woodworks were the perfect little addition to our home! I love that they are distressed white, which fits in perfectly with our other white decor throughout the room, and they are just the right size. If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw my post on this wall hanging last week, which is also from Three Leafs! This team of husband and wife are amazing at what they do, y'all!

Clock: Shabs2Riches Vintage c/o || Greenery: Hobby Lobby

In my humble opinion, no room is complete without a clock! I wanted a clock that was vintage, rustic, and antique white! When I came across this clock from Shabs2Riches Vintage, I literally almost dropped my iPhone in the floor! It was absolutely perfect! I found the perfect piece to fill up our wall above the side table by our couch. I don't know about y'all, but if I don't keep up with the time during the day, it definitely gets away from me! She makes these clocks in several colors, styles, and will even customize them to your liking! I envisioned a beautiful piece of greenery hanging loosely around the clock and I found the perfect one at Hobby Lobby. Oh, how I wish they had an option online to purchase so I could link it for y'all!

Frame: Hobby Lobby || Candle: Bath & Body Works

I hope you have enjoyed taking a peek into our new home! We are absolutely loving it and can't wait to show y'all more! I'll be working on our bedroom next! I just have to find those perfect pieces! After all, it did take me sixty days to get this living room (almost) finished! We just need that perfect rug and we will be set! Thanks for reading and be sure to check out all of the lovely shops who contributed to decorating our living room!
