Hey y'all!
It's almost that special day for all of the lovebirds again! Valentine's Day is a special day for my husband and I. We met the day after V-Day in 2009. I have to say that I never imagined the adventure we would begin after that brief first encounter. He's my one and only. My true love. The future father of my children. The one that keeps me going. I love you, Travis Lee!

Throughout the years, Travis has done some pretty darn romantic things for me! It's always so special and he gives me beautiful flowers every year; whether he's here with me or on the other side of the world, he makes sure that the day is as special as can be. That being said, I've rounded up three date ideas below for y'all that you can hint to your special person that you want to do this year! ;)

But first... fashion. This dress from Make Me Chic is perfection! Not only is it the softest material ever but the high-low hemline adds that special accent! It flows away from your body which is perfect for all of that Valentine's Day chocolate you are bound to receive! The fact that it is only $15 should make you squeal and click over right now to purchase!

I paired it with my favorite hat and the best booties around! My booties are from Steve Madden and are currently sold out, but I found these babes which are super similar. I am also obsessing over my latest jewelry from Rocksbox! This marble Slate necklace is so gorgeous! I can't stop wearing it! Be sure to try a month for free with code BLOOMINTOBEAUTIFULXOXO today!

Now on to those date ideas!

1: A romantic candlelit dinner at home.
I love going out just as much as the next girl... but sometimes staying in is just what you need. Rent a good movie, cook some amazing food, pop some champagne and let the magic happen. ;)

2: Drive to the place you first met and have a picnic.
This is something that I've always wanted to do... BUT we met at Office Depot in our hometown, so I can't see this being quite so romantic. However, if you met somewhere not-so-public and odd, this would be such a fun date! Bring along a picnic dinner with candles and a blanket!

3: A low-key coffee date and stroll through the park.
There's something so sexy about sitting across from that man in your life over a cup of coffee. Whether it's the deep conversations you find yourselves delving into or the connection you get looking into their eyes with no distractions. Finishing that off with a walk through the park under the moonlight and stars will be a perfect evening. This is great for married couples to do once a month too with no phones!

I hope you enjoyed this easy and budget-friendly look! Whether or not you use any of these ideas for V-Day, I encourage you to try them out at different times too! Thanks for reading!
