Having Coffee with Your Worst Enemy

Imagine having coffee with your worst enemy. You probably are cringing at the thought. Sending even just a simple text would make your blood begin to boil.

"Hey, want to have a cup of coffee with me today at Starbucks?"

Now, depending on whether your "enemy" knows that they are your "enemy", would determine how they may react. Do they know that their not in your favor? Or do they not like you just as much as you don't like them?

Now imagine that this would be your very last cup of coffee.

"What?! My last extra hot Venti Caramel Macchiato with skim milk, an extra shot of espresso, no sugar, and extra whip... spent with THEM?"

Yeah, I'm sure this is how most of us would react. Don't lie, girlfriend.

Think back to this story.

Jesus having his LAST supper with Judas - the guy who was going to sell him out with a kiss on the cheek! Who in the world would spend some of their last moments with their worst enemy?

Jesus would. Jesus did. Love would. Love did.

No matter the time, place, person...

Love is always the answer.

Choose love today.
Choose love when you want to yell. Choose love when you want to fight back. Choose love when you want to quit. Choose love when you want to gossip. Choose love when you want to run away. Choose love in all things.

It will change your life and it may just save someone else's.

  2. Love this! Thank you for sharing and I hope you have a blessed day! I have experienced something like this, an old friend who I was no longer in contact with reached out to me on FB friend request. I excepted and we exchanged a few messages, the about 8 months later she died. I do wish I had been more open to our communication before it was too late.
