Margaritaville Island Hotel Blogger Trip

i had the best time with my girl erika james carder in pigeon forge, tn this past week! i’m rounding up what we did, where we ate, and my honest opinion on staying with margaritaville island hotel!
where we stayed
we stayed with margaritaville island hotel in pigeon forge on this trip! i have stayed with them before and honestly can’t imagine staying anywhere else when visiting the area! the location is so perfect, the service is beyond wonderful, and the rooms are so cozy!
i have to give a special shoutout to the valet and bellmen! they were absolutely outstanding!!! well worth the addition to your stay! they had either the a/c or heat on - whichever was needed at the time - for us and also opened our doors for us each trip in and out which was a lot for all of our outfit changes!! y’all rock!
located centrally on the island in pigeon forge, you’ll find so much to do within walking distance! from food to shopping and attractions - this is the spot for a fun girls weekend or a trip with the fam! i promise you won’t regret your stay with margaritaville!
what we ateday 1
breakfast: road trip snacks ;)
lunch: good ol’ chic-fil-a! i had the grilled nuggets and waffle fries of course!
dinner: five oaks farm kitchen (2.6 miles from hotel) - i had the rainbow trout with green beans and mashed potatoes!
day 2
breakfast: margaritaville island hotel cafe (located on-site at hotel) - i had an americano coffee (no food before coasters!)
lunch: food stand at dollywood (4 miles from hotel)!
dinner: margaritaville (1 minute walk from hotel) - i had the crab cakes with jalapeño mac + cheese and mashed potatoes
what we did
obviously this trip was for work! so we mostly shot a lot of content for our instagram and blog accounts! but we also did sneak in some fun here and there!
dollywood (4 miles from hotel) - i can’t say enough about visiting dollywood! i grew up going here every summer as a kid! my dad made sure we always had season passes! all the coasters, food, and fun shows to watch!
smoky mountain alpine coaster (1.9 miles from hotel) - i don’t think i’ve laughed this hard in a long time or been so scared of death! hah! erika and i had a blast on this thing! it’s definitely worth the $15! trust me!!!!
shopping on the island (walking distance of hotel) - love all of the unique shops located on the island! also - ICE CREAM!!!
ferris wheel on the island (walking distance of hotel) - if you want an amazing view of the smoky mountains this is for you! i love going during the day to see them but seeing the lights at night is a must as well!
fountain show on the island (walking distance of hotel and viewable from some rooms!) - omg this was so cool! they put it all together with the music playing! must see for sure!
the apple barn (2.5 miles from hotel) - whether you want a caramel apple, apple cider, or just some cute pics this place is so fun!! family friendly and so close to the hotel!
traveling with erika is honestly one of the best things i’ve ever decided to do! she’s a freaking blast and we mesh so well together! watch my pigeon forge highlight to see our adventures on instagram!
